What monitormypower collects, why, and what you can do about it.

What we hold

• Your account. Email address, and the name, company and phone number you choose to give us.
• Your sites. The label, address and account number you enter for each meter.
• Your energy data. Bills and, where your utility publishes them, smart-meter readings — collected from your utility through Bayou Energy once you connect an account.
• Your sessions. A session record so you stay signed in, which expires after 30 minutes of inactivity.

Who we share it with

Nobody, except the services required to run the app: Supabase stores the database, Vercel serves the site, and Bayou Energy is how your utility data reaches us. We do not sell data, and we do not pass your details to suppliers unless you explicitly ask us to arrange a switch.

Your utility credentials

We never see them. Signing in to your utility happens on Bayou Energy's own page, not ours. We receive the data your account produces, never the login that produced it.

Your choices

• Download everything we hold about you from Settings.
• Delete your account from Settings. Deletion is scheduled 30 days out, so an accidental one can be undone; after that the data is gone.
• Disconnect a utility account at any time, which stops new data arriving.

Cookies

We set one cookie to keep you signed in and one to protect forms against cross-site request forgery. Neither is optional — without them you cannot sign in safely. See Cookies for the detail.
